Multi Engine Add-On
Career Pilot School's Multi Engine Add-On Course prepares a single engine Private or Commercial pilot for the rigors of multi engine flight. The Multi Engine Rating on a Commercial Pilot Certificate is one of the major requirements for employment at most airlines, charter companies, and cargo operators. This is a must have rating for those looking to enter the job market of the aviation industry. For those pilots who are not seeking a professional aviator career, the Multi Engine Add-On Course will further enhance your flying skills and open the door to flying many more aircraft for your personal use!
Besides the Instrument rating, the multi engine rating can be one of the most challenging ratings a pilot can achieve. But, while challenging, it is also one of the most fun! You will fly an aircraft that is bigger and faster than what you normally fly. During your course, you will learn multi engine aerodynamics, multi engine systems, normal multi engine maneuvers, and how to handle an emergency in a multi engine aircraft.
Career Pilot School utilizes Beechcraft Duchess (BE-76) aircraft for our Multi Engine Add-On Course. Each of our aircraft have dual navigation and communication radios, intercoms, and DME. Some of our aircraft also have autopilot and weather radar installed!
The total price of the Multi Engine Add-On Course is $5,677.50. This price includes training materials, flight time up to 12.5 hours, flight instruction, ground instruction, and up to four weeks of housing. If the course cannot be completed within the hours advertised, the student has the option of paying for extra flight time and flight instruction at a per hour cost.
